Refund Policy
This policy governs all payments made to AdVantage Media Group LLC for services under any engagement, including the Kickstarter, Rapid Growth, and Content CMO offers. It is a binding part of the agreement between you and AdVantage Media Group LLC. Where your signed service agreement addresses refunds directly, that agreement controls.
Scope of this policy
This refund policy applies to every payment made to AdVantage Media Group LLC, under any offer, package, or engagement. It works alongside, and does not replace, the specific terms in your signed service agreement.
If anything in this policy conflicts with your signed service agreement, the service agreement controls for your account.
Payment is for services rendered
Fees paid to AdVantage Media Group LLC compensate us for the time, labor, strategy, and resources committed to your account. Payment is due for work performed regardless of the business outcome that work produces, unless a specific written guarantee in your service agreement states otherwise.
No refunds for delivered work
Once AdVantage Media Group LLC delivers the content, strategy, systems, or other deliverables agreed upon in your service agreement, that work is considered performed and paid for. No refund will be issued for work that has already been delivered in accordance with the agreed scope.
Delivering the agreed work fulfills our obligation for that work. What the client does with it, or the business results it produces, does not change that, and does not create a right to a refund.
Your service agreement controls
Your signed service agreement will set out, in a clearly highlighted section, the specific refund terms, timelines, and conditions that apply to your engagement. By signing that agreement, you accept those specific terms in addition to this policy.
This policy is the general framework. Your service agreement is where the specifics of your account live.
Guarantee remedies are not refunds
Where your offer includes a performance guarantee, such as a views guarantee under the Kickstarter, Rapid Growth, or Content CMO offers, the remedy for a missed guarantee is the one stated in your service agreement. That remedy is typically continued work at no additional charge until the guaranteed benchmark is met.
A guarantee remedy is a continuation of service. It is not a refund, and it does not entitle you to a return of fees already paid unless your service agreement expressly says so.
Cancellation of future work
You can cancel future, undelivered work according to the notice period and terms in your service agreement. Canceling future work does not entitle you to a refund of fees already earned for work performed before the cancellation takes effect.
Non-refundable fees and costs
The following are non-refundable in all cases:
- Any portion of a fee tied to work already delivered or already in progress at the time of a refund request
- Onboarding, setup, or strategy fees once the corresponding work has started
- Third-party costs already incurred on your behalf
- Any amount your service agreement specifically labels as non-refundable
Chargebacks and payment disputes
Filing a chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal with your bank or card issuer instead of following the request process in Section 10 is treated as a material breach of your service agreement.
AdVantage Media Group LLC reserves the right to contest any chargeback with full documentation of the work performed and delivered, to suspend or terminate services immediately once a chargeback is filed, and to pursue any amount improperly reversed, along with associated costs and fees, through any lawful means available, including collections or legal action.
Exceptions are discretionary
Any exception to this policy is granted, if at all, at the sole discretion of AdVantage Media Group LLC and on a one-time basis. Granting an exception once does not obligate us to grant the same or a similar exception again, and does not waive any part of this policy or your service agreement.
How to request a refund
Any refund request permitted under this policy or your service agreement must be submitted in writing to the contact listed below, along with your name, account details, and the reason for the request. We will review it against your specific service agreement and respond within a reasonable time.
Governing law and disputes
This policy is governed by the same governing law and dispute resolution terms set out in AdVantage Media Group LLC's Terms & Conditions and in your service agreement.
Changes to this policy
AdVantage Media Group LLC may update this policy at any time. The version published on advntg.co at the time you make a payment is the version that applies to that payment, unless your signed service agreement says otherwise.
